OMI have been collaborating with Vertical Aerospace on the industrial design development of their commercial eVTOL aircraft, making significant contributions to the exterior aesthetics, cabin interiors, and cockpit design. Our role also extends to the visualisation of the VX4, bringing its vision and technical components to life.
As part of our collaboration, we facilitated an interactive pilot workshop to gather direct feedback on the cockpit design, enhancing the ergonomics and usability of the space. This hands-on approach included creating a VR experience, which allowed pilots to immerse themselves in the new cockpit environment, providing valuable insights that directly influenced the final design.
OMI played a crucial role in creating vital visual assets for the Vertical Aerospace website, showcasing the technical aspects of the eVTOL in a clear and engaging manner. These assets were designed to visually communicate the aircraft’s functionality, complementing the website designed by Fiasco.

To mark a significant milestone, we created a series of iconic renders of the VX4 aircraft for Vertical’s launch on the New York Stock Exchange, a platform that symbolises the global recognition and acceptance of our work in the eVTOL industry.
